Broad Peak is one of the large mountains which towers above Concordia at the heart of the Karakoram range. It lies at the Pakistani/Chinese frontier among K2 and the Gasherbrum peaks and was first climbed by an Austrian group in 1957, which included Kurt Diemberger and Herman Buhl. Expeditions to Broad Peak begin with a dazzling trek to base camp passing a number of the maximum breathtaking surroundings with inside the Karakoram. The climb itself is tougher than close by Gasherbrum II. We climb the height through the ‘classic’ West Ridge route that rises directly above base camp at the Godwin Austen Glacier. The route follows a 30-forty five-diploma snow slope with short rock sections. Three or Four camps might be located and ropes might be constant at the steeper sections of the climb. It is a brilliant and interesting undertaking for a mid-degree in addition to a senior degree mountaineer.
