Fairy Meadows may be a name given to the spectacular, green fields that lie near the Nanga Parbat Mountain in Raikhot Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Fairy Meadows is a start point for mountaineer that wish to scale the mighty Nanga Parbat Mountain, Nanga Parbat is the 9th highest mountain in world. Fairy Meadows are often reached by a 5 km road trek from the nearby Tattu village. A 12 km jeep track from Raikhot bridge on the Karakoram Highway results in Tattu. Fairy Meadows remains a well-liked tourist destination in Gilgit-Baltistan from April to September. The Nanga Parbat Mountain sets a stunning backdrop for the Fairy Meadows, making it an exciting destination for local and foreign tourists. The meadows also are home to several species of wildlife. Nanga Parbat, the “Killer Mountain”, in Diamer , is that the 9th highest mountain in world. It rises magnificently to a height of 26,660 feet within the western end of the Himalayas. Nanga Parbat translates from Sanskrit to mean “Naked Mountain”. Locals ask it by its Tibetan name Diamer or Deo Mir, meaning “huge mountain”.
Nanga Parbat is notorious for being the foremost difficult mountain to scale. Its prominence, the Rupal face, is that the highest mountain face within the world at 15,090 feet. Fairy Meadows in Raikhot Valley, Diamer District, is that the start line for people that wish to climb Nanga Parbat.
Day 01: ISLAMABAD AIRPORT – ISLAMABAD: You will be greeted at Islamabad international airport and transferred to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: ISLAMABAD – CHLIAS: Early Morning after breakfast drive 11-12 hrs on Karakorum Highway. We will stop for photography, toilet break and lunch at Chatar or Besham. stay in hotel.
Day 03: CHLIAS – FAIRY MEADOWS: (Drive, trek & Hotel). After Breakfast drive by van/coaster to Raikot Bridge. At Raikot, you will be transferred to 4×4 jeep for drive till Tato stop after 3 hours, we will be at our final destination (fairy meadows). Stay in camp/hotel.
Day 04: FAIRY MEADOWS: Day for Photography & relax day.
Day 05: FAIRY MEADOWS – BEYAL CAMP – Nanga Parbat BC – BEYAL CAMP: Full day sightseeing to the base camp of Nanga Parbat Mountain. This is an easy and pleasant three miles walk. At base camp, we will explore nature and as well as memorials of climber who died during climbing. Around latenoon, come back to BEYLAl campsite for accommodation.
Day 06: Return to Fairy Meadows and remaining time free to enjoy nature or walk around in the fairy tale land of beautiful Fairy Meadows.
Day 07: return journey via same route to Chilas. stay & dine
Day 08: Chilas to Islamabad and Fly for your next distination
Day 09: end of Services.
